Our affiliate platform does not provide built-in analytics. However, you can track the traffic your website sends using Google Analytics. If you have a website, we recommend setting up a custom event in Google Analytics 4. A simple way to track outbound traffic is by filtering clicks that contain "farmhousedecorshop" in the external link URL.
2. Will I receive notifications for sales?
You will not receive individual sale notifications. However, you can log in to your affiliate account to view any commissions earned.
3. Can I use product descriptions from your website?
No, product descriptions cannot be copied and pasted. To maintain unique content and search rankings, all affiliates must create their own descriptions. Successful strategies include writing original blog posts, reviews, and shopping guides.
4. Can I use product images?
Yes, images can be used on blogs and social media, provided the content is legitimate. A legitimate publication should express opinions, share insights, and provide authentic advice. Spammy or low-quality content may result in removal from the affiliate program. Sharing images on Pinterest is allowed if the pinboard and account are relevant and not flagged as spam.
5. What are the best ways to generate traffic as an affiliate?
Successful affiliates typically focus on:
Growing their audience through social media and content marketing.
Blogging about products with authentic reviews and shopping advice.
Using email marketing to engage a targeted audience. Paid advertising is not recommended unless you have expertise in running profitable campaigns.
6. Where should I place my affiliate link?
We recommend placing your affiliate link in a visible and relevant location, such as in blog content, social media posts, or email newsletters. If you are looking for a general placement on your website, the footer is a common option.
7. Can I work with influencers to promote affiliate products?
Yes! Partnering with influencers can be an effective way to grow your audience and increase traffic. Many of our affiliates have found success using Instagram and other social media platforms.
8. Are there any restrictions on traffic sources?
We only allow high-quality, organic traffic. Spammy traffic, low-quality paid ads, and unsolicited email marketing (spam) are not permitted. If an affiliate is found using prohibited methods, their participation may be revoked.
9. Do I need to be based in the U.S. to join the affiliate program?
No, but your affiliate website or blog should be hosted on a U.S.-based server. This ensures optimal performance and audience targeting.
10. I’m new to affiliate marketing. Can you provide guidance?
Absolutely! If you’re new to affiliate marketing, we recommend focusing on audience building first. Growing your following through social media, email lists, and blogging is more effective than immediate monetization. If you need further guidance, let us know!
11. How do I get my affiliate link?
1. In your account go to "Affiliate Tracking"
2. Click on the field "Tracking Link Generator" and search for the product name you want to link.
3. Once you select the product, the field "Tracking Link" will automatically generate the link.
